Atlanta Falcons: Ranking the Quarterbacks They Will Face
By Kit Anderson
Ben Roethlisberger Week 5- Big Ben has himself involved in a minor off-season controversy after two years of threats to retire the Steelers drafted Mason Rudolph. For some reason that didn’t sit well with the veteran quarterback.
It is surprising considering the level he is still capable of playing at and the fact it is his team. It has been HIS team for years now and will be as long as he can stay healthy. He is a future Hall-of-Famer and still playing at that level.
Drew Brees Weeks 3 and 12- Drew Brees will end his career with his name at the top of almost every meaningful quarterback stat. He has shown a bit of regression but still leads a dangerous offense and can pick secondaries apart at will.
Brees is ageless it would seem. An unfortunate fact Falcon’s fans are well aware of. The week two game will be an early test for where both teams stand. There is always the slight chance Brees begins to show his age this season.
A pipe dream for Falcon’s fans who are stuck in the best division in football. Statistically, Brees is the best but the eye test tells you who the actual best quarterback is that the Falcons will face.
