Atlanta Braves Should Trade For These Trade Deadline Targets

Zach Britton || LHP – Baltimore Orioles

We haven’t seen much out of Britton this year, but he’s still a solid option on the trade block. Britton went out with an Achilles tear last December and was expected to be out for 6 months. Well, those 6 months are almost up and Britton’s looked great in rehab lately.

With a career 3.22 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP, there’s no question that the Braves could use such talents. However, he is coming off of an injury. That puts his future in question but it also gives the Braves a bit of a bargaining chip.

If the Braves were able to convince the Orioles to part with Britton before he returns to the team it could benefit the Braves. The Orioles are in the toughest division in all of baseball watching them this season it isn’t hard to tell they will be selling.

Their roster has many good pieces the Braves could target aside from just Britton. Our next reliever is part of a similar situation.
