2. Freddie Freeman is One of the Best Hitters in Baseball and Will Go Down as a Braves Great!!

Freddie Freeman’s first full season with the Braves was in 2011. What has the big first baseman done since then?  He has racked up over 1,100 hits while hitting .291 and hitting 174 balls out of the ballpark.

Much of that damage came during years the Braves weren’t in postseason contention. They had a bad lineup and Freeman saw very little to hit. Yet, the first baseman racked up these numbers showing you how great he is.

He was patient and took advantage of the few chances he did have punishing opposing pitchers who challenged him.

Freeman has been the glue that held the Braves’ teams of the past five years together. Often helping make terrible teams watchable he now has something he lacked… help.

The Braves have a good lineup and Freeman is beasting because of it. Freeman is still in the prime of his career and there isn’t any reason to think the best isn’t yet to come for one of baseball’s best hitters.
