10. The Consistent Veteran Nick Markakis

Nick Markakis makes this list on his consistent production and by the fact, the Braves have had very few star players on their roster.

The last decade hasn’t been kind to the Braves with many of their free agents and prospects going bust. There are many things that did go as planned, however, such as the addition of Nick Markakis.

Markakis has had at least 160 hits every season he has played with the Braves. He plays great defense in right field and leads by example.

Though it doesn’t factor into his ranking Markakis is off to a great start in the current season as well. It is likely his final season as a member of the Atlanta Braves.

Nick is the type of player every team wishes they had more of. A quiet and reserved leader who gets his job done. He is good at his job and has given four good years of baseball to the Atlanta Braves.

Now on to the next member of our countdown!
