3. Brian McCann a True Pro, Forever an Atlanta Brave

Brian McCann started his career with the Atlanta Braves and it wouldn’t be surprising if he were to finish in Atlanta. McCann has won a ring since he left the Braves as well as made a stop with the iconic New York Yankees.

Before his run with the Yankees or World Series win with the Houston Astros McCann was the leader of the Atlanta Braves. Along with Chipper Jones, B-Mac was the tone setter in the Atlanta clubhouse and lineup.

He called great games behind the plate and helped improve rookie pitchers. His offense was great for a catcher and you could count on him to chip in 20 home runs a season.

Brian McCann was one of the last “Baby Braves” to leave Atlanta and has had the best career. Watching McCann behind the plate or in the lineup was something too many of us took for granted.

McCann belongs back in Atlanta and he seems to think so too.
