Scouting Report. 1987-1993, Oregon. player. Pick Analysis. QB. Chris Miller. 5. 44

In my opinion, the Falcons have only had four quarterbacks worth listing here, but if I have to come up with a top-5 list, I would go with Chris Miller at number 5.

Although not the most successful quarterback, going only 23-43, Chris Miller did have pretty good individual stats throwing for over 14,000 yards and 87 touchdowns in his 69 games played for the Falcons. Those stats are decent but what he lacked was the accuracy and vision.

He only had a 54% completion percentage on 2089 attempts and a lot of the time missed open players due to overthrowing players. He also had an interception problem throwing 72 interceptions. Miller reminds me a lot of Cam Newton, passing-wise, because both are inaccurate and throw a lot of interceptions but have good arms and can make good plays.

Like I said, there aren’t many good quarterbacks for the Falcons outside of the main 4 but this really came down to Jeff George and Chris Miller. I went with Chris Miller because he beats George in most statistics and was here longer.
