1997-2001, Washington. Chris Chandler. 3. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 44

Chris Chandler, the first quarterback to take the Falcons to the Super Bowl, comes in at number 3 on this list.

Chris Chandler is the 3rd most successful quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons all time and was the first to take us to a Super Bowl after a magical 1998 season in which he threw for 3,154 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions and led Atlanta to a 14-2 record. Chandler was old by the time he got to Atlanta but had some of his best seasons as a pro in Atlanta.

He sits at number 4 in passing yards for the Atlanta Falcons all-time even though he played in a run-first offense. He also had fewer interceptions than Miller despite playing the same amount of games. Chris Chandler’s ability in the pocket and even on the run to not make dangerous decisions and he rarely forced up throws. An argument can be made for Chandler to be put higher on the list but he earned his nickname “Crystal Chandelier” for a reason but despite the injuries, he will forever be remembered by Falcons fans.
