The Atlanta Braves are riding high coming off of a walk-off win against the Marlins. They currently boast a division best 28-17 record and look to be contenders in 2018.

Watching the Atlanta Braves this season I still catch myself expecting them to blow leads. After three years of misery and losing this team is changing the Braves image. Winning games they led from the start and completing thrilling comebacks.

This team doesn’t quit and plays with an energy I haven’t seen from a Braves team in years. They have benefitted from a lot of young players stepping up and finally claiming roles.

Their pitching staff has been consistent enough to keep them in games and allow the offense to take the lead. Sunday’s game was the icing on the proverbial cake proving the Braves to be true contenders.

The Braves complete a huge six-run comeback most of which came with two outs. They won the game and the series. It was a game they had no business winning yet they didn’t give in and completed the huge comeback.

Without these key players, however, the Braves wouldn’t be enjoying the success they have having. Here are the Braves top five players so far this season:
