3. Freddie Freeman is Their Best Player

When your best player is third on this list in the middle of May it shows how talented the Braves roster has become. Freeman is the Braves best hitter and player and it isn’t very close. Still, so far this season he hasn’t been the biggest contributor.

Others have outperformed the veteran who is still looking to be one of the best hitters in the League. Freeman is hitting .325 with 9 homers, as many walks as strikeouts, and also has managed to steal four bases.

This season we are going to finally see just how good Freeman can be with a good lineup around him.

If he is able to remain healthy it would be surprising not to see him in the MVP race. A race he could easily win if the top of the lineup continues to produce and set the table for him.  Freeman is having fun playing baseball. Something that was hard to say about the veteran for the last three years.  He will continue to produce and by season’s end should be at the top of any such list.
