Atlanta Braves Have Four Players Who Should be All-Stars

The Atlanta Braves are having a great season so far. They have at least four players who deserve to make the All-Star team. Something you couldn’t say about Atlanta players in a very long time.
The Atlanta Braves have the Major League Baseball hits leader in Nick Markakis. He has collected 66 hits already this season and has been on fire at the plate. If leading the League in hits isn’t enough to make the All-Star team I’m not sure what the criteria are.
Markakis is a good right fielder and easily should be in the All-Star starting lineup with his 66 hits and a .344 average.
Freddie Freeman is second in the National League in hits and has been putting up his usual numbers. Freeman deserves to be an All-Star and has knocked in 35 runs while hitting .324 coming into today’s action.
Both Freeman and Markakis deserve All-Star support and should be considered as starters for the All-Star roster.
Ozzie Albies is the last position player that fans should be voting into the All-Star Game. Ozzie is an exciting young player who has been making a name for himself so far this season.
He has hit 14 homers trailing only Bryce Harper in the National League. He has scored 45 times and knocked in 34 runs. He is having a breakout season and deserves to make the All-Star team in his first full season with the Braves.
Sean Newcomb is 5-1 with a 2.39 ERA and the last Braves player we will highlight. He has been great. While he shouldn’t start the game he should make the roster assuming he doesn’t implode between now and when the roster is selected.
All four of these Braves players are deserving of an All-Star selection. Four Braves who should make the All-Star team shows you this roster is for real. A team with more talent than any Braves roster has had in a very long time.
