Julio Jones assures Falcons fans that he’ll be in Atlanta for life after a very unusual offseason.

Julio Jones has definitely brought a sense of nervousness to Falcons fans. First, we saw Jones delete his Falcons-related posts on Instagram at the end of April. He soon cleared that up by saying it was simply social media cleaning. Then, he recently didn’t show up to voluntary OTAs with the team. This was rumored to be that he wanted a new contract, similar to the way other wide receivers are paid in the NFL.

Arthur Blank met with Julio Jones and said publicly that he will be a Falcon for life. TMZ Sports caught up with Jones to see if he agreed with Blank and that was indeed the case.

"“Everyone wants a story right now. There’s no story to be told. There’s no bad blood between the team and I. Everyone’s just trying to destroy what we’ve built here. I love the team, organization and everybody there. I’m just working on myself right now.”"

Jones has always been a very low-key type of player. He’s never been one to be associated with drama like the stereotypical wide receiver. If there are any concerns on his part, he will definitely let the team know. Jones is heading into the final season of a five-year deal.

Mandatory OTAs for the Falcons are a few weeks away and Blank did say that Jones will be there. It will be an interesting camp for the Atlanta offense as they addressed the offensive line by adding 49ers Guard Brandon Fusco, 49ers Tight End Logan Paulsen and Rookie Wide Receiver Calvin Ridley from Alabama through the draft.

Atlanta has the potential to be the best offense in the NFL again and Jones should continue to thrive as Offensive Coordinator Steve Sarkisian will be acclimated in his second year with the Falcons.
