Lebron James has ended Al Horford’s hopes at a Finals appearance yet again. A familiar feeling for the former Atlanta Hawk’s center who has been swept by Lebron more than once in the last five seasons.

Lebron James ending Al Horford’s season is becoming a time-honored basketball tradition. The former Atlanta Hawk is getting all too familiar with losing to Lebron James led teams. The Celtics seven-game series with the Cavs was progress for Horford.

Horford is a good player and playing his best basketball late in his career. His years spent in Atlanta were great but without the accurate long-range game, Horford is adding to his skill set.

It wasn’t hard to see watching the playoff Celtics they were led by Al Horford. While he may not make the flashy plays the team won and lost according to how the veteran played.

Losing to Lebron is nothing to be ashamed of for Horford who will have to wait yet another season for a chance at chasing his first Title.

He has to hope Lebron decides to stay in Cleveland or move to the West. Either of those moves would make Boston the clear favorites to win the East next season.

For now, however, the focus will shift to the Finals with both the Hawks and Horford yet again sitting at home watching.

The Finals will be played between the Cavs and the winner of tonight’s Golden State and Houston matchup. Whoever comes out of the West will be heavily favored over a ragtag Cleveland roster that Lebron had to draft to the Finals.

The Finals will kick-off on Thursday night in a best of seven series that is unlikely to be much of a series at all.

But with Lebron James and one of the top two seed in the West squaring off, there will be plenty of entertainment to end the 2017-18 season.
