The Atlanta Braves have yet another walk-off win their second in as many days against the New York Mets. The Braves are continuously coming back and showing late-inning heroics.
The Atlanta Braves walked off on a Johan Camargo homer winning 7-6 scoring 5 runs in the last three innings. It is becoming a normal feat for the comeback kids in Atlanta. It is their second walk-off homer in as many days.
Watching the Braves this season fans are quickly learning not to switch the TV off or leave the ballpark just because their team is behind. The Braves are comeback specialist, scoring late-inning runs and taking over the game.
It has been amazing to watch and points to the fact that this Braves team is legitimate. They are contenders and can come back against any team in the League.
Watching the Braves offense get ignited every night by a different player in the lineup shows how deep of a lineup the Braves lineup is.
The Braves will wrap up their series against the New York Mets tonight in Atlanta before an important division series with the Washington Nationals.
What makes the Braves recent wins against the Mets even more impressive is they are getting little help from their bullpen. The starters are giving up a big lead quickly and the bullpen is allowing the lead to grow bigger.
Last night Anibal Sanchez and Matt Wisler combined to give up six runs. It was an ugly performance from the starters who are unlikely to play a role in the starting rotation much longer.
If the Braves can find a way to get consistent production from their rotation they should be considered division favorites.
If not, the Braves could wear as the season continues having to come from behind too often. For now, coming back is working for the Braves the rest of the League better hold tight to any lead they have against Atlanta because the comeback kids never stop in Atlanta.
