4. Mike Moustakas Managing the Hot Corner for Atlanta

Manny Machado is the prize of the trade deadline. If he is on the market as expecting teams will be throwing a lot of offers the Orioles way. With all the focus on Machado perhaps, Mike could become a cheaper option for the Braves.

Watching Moustakas play it is obvious he is a good hitter with an above average glove at third base. He would add a boost to the Braves already potent lineup.

He is hitting well over .270 so far this season and looks great offensively. He would replace Johan Camargo who is yet to up his average over .240 this season and has less power than Mike.

Adding Mike would allow Johan to move back to the utility role for the Braves. He would add a big boost to the Braves bench unit as well providing a better pinch-hitting option.

Moustakas isn’t going to come cheap but if the Braves believe he will help put them at the top they won’t hesitate to pay the price.
