Looking at his resume for the Atlanta Braves Mike Foltynewicz isn’t a name coming to mind when you are talking about potential All-Stars. Yet, the young flamethrower could change that this season.
So far he has put together a year worthy of All-Star consideration including his first ever complete game. Watching him pitch at times has been a treat for the Braves and their fans.
Making the team would be a big resume boost for Folty and a well deserved one if his recent success can continue between now and the All-Star roster selection.
Overall the Braves have five All-Star caliber players including Freddie Freeman and the aforementioned first-timers for the Braves.
