The Atlanta Braves are in contention and having a surprise season. Their solid season and youth will be a big selling point for next year’s big free agent class. Who could the Braves target?

The Atlanta Braves may be in the middle of a good season but it isn’t too early to speculate about a loaded free agent class.

Looking at the Braves lineup it is obvious they will need to add some bench pieces as well as an outfielder.

Nick Markakis is likely to move on to another team and the Braves to continue their youth movement.

Elsewhere the Braves need a closer and multiple bullpen pieces if they want a chance to be World Series contenders.  Adding at least a closer is a must for the team in the off-season.

Looking at the rotation is seems feasible the Braves could stand pat though they may look to target a top of the rotation arm if the bidding war isn’t over the top.  Here are the free agents the Braves should consider.
