1. Bring Back the Fire With Craig Kimbrel

I can’t be the only Atlanta Braves fan with fond memories of the flames erupting at Turner Field and Craig Kimbrel coming out of the bullpen.

It was an electric atmosphere I haven’t seen replicated with any other closer. The energy he brought to the team and stadium was unlike any other closer I have watched in my years of following baseball.

On a more practical level, he also happens to be one of the best closers in baseball already piling up 310 career saves on a 1.81 Earned Run Average. Bringing him back to Atlanta would feel right and fill a need for the team.

Kimbrel is likely to consider Atlanta but it would take a big offer to pry him away from Boston. The Red Sox are World Series contenders often and will attempt to keep their star closer.

The Braves would have the advantage of being Kimbrel’s first team. Could we see a reunion in the 2019 season for Craig Kimbrel and the Braves?
