I don’t know much about Arthur Cox other than his statistics. He’s 5th all-time in tight end receiving yards for the Falcons with 1,268 yards in 5 seasons. While that isn’t great in this era, it was pretty decent back then but his touchdown numbers were poor with him only getting 7 touchdowns in 5 seasons.

TE. 4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 44. 1980-1983, Nebraska. Junior Miller

Just like Arthur Cox, not much is known about Junior Miller other than his statistics. He’s 4th in receiving yards and touchdowns for all Falcons tight ends in only 4 seasons with the Falcons. He was short-lived in Atlanta but helped Bartkowski and the Falcons offense during his time in Atlanta.

Jim Mitchell. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. 44. TE. 1969-1979, Prairie View A&M University

Jim Mitchell was selected in the 4th round by the Falcons in 1969 and spent 11 years in Atlanta totaling 155 games in red and black from 1969 to 1979. The 4th rounder finished with 305 catches, 4,358 yards, and 28 touchdowns. While he is the best Falcons TE of all-time in terms of yards and second best in terms of touchdowns, I put him third because of the amount of games he played. He averaged 28.1 yards per game and .18 touchdowns per game which is below number 2 and number 1 on the list.
