Two months ago, the Falcons drafted six players, and four out of the six play different positions.  Now with Training Camp only a month away, who are the players to keep your eye on as it nears?

2. Isaiah Oliver

Isaiah Oliver, the second-round draft pick out of Colorado, is a high-ranked player coming out of the draft and could have easily gone in the first round.  However, the Falcons were able to snag him in the second and will definitely play a role on defense.

He is a fast, ball-hawking Cornerback, who could easily takeover the Nickel position from Brian Poole.  Brian Poole has been golden for us since he was picked up as an Undrafted Free Agent back in 2016, but Isaiah Oliver is one step above Poole.  Oliver is faster and has the perfect size for the position, whereas Poole is smaller and not as well-suited for that particular position.

In Training Camp and Preseason, he will get a lot of reps and will probably play the entire first half of every Preseason game, if not more.  It is only a matter of time until he is the starter of the Nickel-back position and make the immediate impact we all hope and dream of him doing.
