4. The bullpen is the priority but where are the rumors?

Atlanta has made it very clear their bullpen is the priority for their team. Rightly so as we mentioned already Atlanta’s one big weakness is their lack of solid and consistent relief pitching. Adding at least one reliever is a must.

What is a little confusing about it is the fact Atlanta is yet to be tied to a relief pitcher. While the aforementioned rumors on Adrian Beltre, Manny Machado, and Nathan Eovaldi have been well reported there is yet to be a reliable source linking the Braves to a reliever. Surprising if the team is making relievers the priority.

Part of this is simply the fact the addition of a relief pitcher isn’t as interesting in the baseball news cycle. The other part is the team may be confident they can add a reliever quickly and are looking at bigger targets already.

Whatever the reason bullpen has to addressed as Atlanta clings to a small lead in the NL East.
