Jabari Parker, the former #2 overall draft pick is a smart player and a very good all-around offensive player. He shot a career-high 38.3% from 3 point range and is a good PF for today’s spread out, small ball style. Jabari is a solid rebounder as well, especially when given major minutes. He needs to play with a rim protector, as he’s not a shot blocker at all.

Parker would fit with the Atlanta Hawks as a PF in small ball lineups. He would give the team a versatile offensive player, who is able to post up smaller players and take bigger payers off the dribble. The issue with Parker is durability. He’s only played in 183 of a possible 328 career games, starting only 150.

This is due to a variety of injuries, most notably ACL tears in both knees. Due to his injury history, he is likely the most obtainable of the restricted free agents. It’s too risky for a Hawks franchise that badly needs their gambles to pay off.

Verdict: The Atlanta Hawks should pass on offering Jabari Parker a large offer sheet.
