Noah Vonleh was the 9th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He’s now been on 3 NBA teams and has yet to become a major part of a team’s rotation. Noah is a former wing tuned PF. He would be an interesting fit for the Atlanta Hawks as a reclamation project. His best skill is rebounding, and he averaged a strong 12.8 rebounds per 36 mins.

This is an area where the Hawks, who ranked 25th at cleaning the glass, can definitely use reinforcements. Vonleh isn’t just a rim runner, he also shows good footwork ok the post. He has shown signs of becoming a stretch 4, making career-high 20 triples last season.

Noah needs to improve on his 30% showing beyond the arch and cut down on fouls to earn more playing time.

Verdict: The Atlanta Hawks should take a chance on Vonleh offering a 3 year 14 million dollar deal with only the 1st year being guaranteed. He could get a little more if needed for the team to get to the salary cap floor.
