3. Chris Archer

Chris Archer is a young, talented pitcher, which is the perfect recipe to become an Atlanta Braves player.  He is also a viable option that the Braves should explore.

Yes, the Braves have a plethora of pitching talent in the minor leagues, but how many of them are going to become aces?

The “thing” about Chris Archer is that there is the good, the bad, and the ugly.  The good is that he is young, talented, and has a ton of potential.  The bad is that his Win-Loss record 3-4 in 13 total games this year.  The ugly is his 4.24 ERA in those 13 games, which is right around what Brandon McCarthy and Julio Teheran are throwing right now.

The verdict: trade for Chris Archer.  He is a 29-year-old who has a lot of upsides.  He can come in and make an immediate impact in the starting pitching rotation.  Also, I am sure that the asking price is not too high.
