Atlanta Braves: Top Players the Braves Should Target with Trade Deadline Looming

5. Noah Syndergaard

Last, but definitely not least, Noah Syndergaard. Syndergaard, a teammate to Jacob deGrom, is also a lights-out pitcher.  He is 4-1 on the year in 11 starts and has a 3.06 ERA.  He is a more likely candidate than deGrom but is still a reach.  Not a far reach, but a reach at that.

Looking at his stats, he does have a better Win-Loss record than deGrom, but his ERA is not even close to deGrom.  Nonetheless, a 3.06 ERA is very good and comparing it to the Braves’ starters, it is absolutely amazing.  Also, he is 25-years-old, which is perfect for the Braves.

He should be a strong candidate for the Braves, as they continue to scramble for consistent pitching and Syndergaard might be the guy they are looking for.
