With their last pick, the Falcons grabbed a defensive player. Did he pan out?

The pick: Travian Robertson, Defensive Tackle, 249th overall

Their impact: Robertson appeared in 12 games for the Falcons, and made 4 tackles.

He retired after a four-year career with 5 career tackles.

Who else was available that round?: Since we can count undrafted players, we actually have some options.

Jermaine Kearse has been a solid receiver during his time in the league. He still starts for the New York Jets.

Marquette King is one of the best (and funniest) punters in the league and should start for the Broncos.

He will be teammates with Case Keenum, who was one of the feel-good stories of the 2017-18 season.

Vontaze Burfict and Tashaun Gibson have both been solid contributors on the defensive side of the ball.

Justin Tucker is also one of the best specialists in the league and is a Super Bowl champion.

Would they switch the pick?: That’s like asking if McDonald’s has good french fries?

Although we drafted Matt Ryan again, I think Keenum is a good option here.

Obviously, he has only had one option, but I would much rather have his as our backup than Matt Schaub.

Keenum could provide a high-end backup plan in case Matty Ice did get hurt.

His career would also probably be much different if he never played under Jeff Fischer.
