4. at Green Bay Packers

The fourth hardest game is also up North, which doesn’t sound so bad considering the fact that the Falcons have owned the Packers the past couple of seasons and this just so happens to be at their field this year.  Well, there is no good news with this matchup.  This game is during the 14th Week of the regular season, which is December 9th of this year.

That means that there is definitely a chance of snow.  If there isn’t snow, then it will definitely be hovering around the low 30s in temperature.  The bad news does not stop there, Aaron Rodgers returns from breaking his collarbone last season, so he will be healthier than ever.  He also returns to a new weapon at the Tight End position who goes by the name of Jimmy Graham.  The last piece of bad news is that it is being played on Lambeau Field, which is an extremely tough environment and atmosphere to play in if you are on the opposing team.

I am not too worried about Jimmy Graham because of the fact that the Falcons are very familiar with him.  I am worried about Aaron Rodgers, despite the Falcons playing particularly well against him the past couple of seasons.

The past couple of seasons, however, those games have been on Atlanta’s turf.  Now in a relatively different and somewhat new environment for the young players, it may pose big problems for the Atlanta Falcons.

The way the Falcons should attack the Green Bay Packers is how they are attacking the Eagles.  Use Blitzes effectively and have Deion Jones be a QB-Spy because Aaron Rodgers can move very well.  Also, our passing attack has been quite well against the Packers in the past and I think it will continue this season, especially now with Calvin Ridley on the roster.
