At the All-Star, the Atlanta Braves had compiled an impressive 52-42 record and are still in the thick of the playoff race as the second half begins in full swing. While several Atlanta players have made their mark on the season, some performances stand out more than others.

The offense got off to a sizzling start early in the year. Names like Ryan Flaherty and Preston Tucker overachieved and helped the Braves get off to early success.

Other players like Charlie Culberson and Mike Foltynewicz are having career seasons to help the team maintain their nice start.

With so many memorable moments and stand out performances from a Braves team that’s ahead of schedule, there’s enough to make our own midseason awards list.

Which is exactly what we did.

It’s time for us to take a look back on a memorable first half before we delve into an exciting second half playoff push.
