4. Ito Smith Provides Depth at Running Back

Ito Smith was one of my favorite under the radar picks for the Atlanta Falcons. Not many people were high on Smith because of his size and where he played football. But if you watched him at all last season you would know how explosive he can be.

The Falcons have discussed using Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman on the field at the same time. It is a brilliant idea considering they would be alongside Julio Jones a recipe for disaster.

A monster like Julio along with two homerun hitters who can catch would vault the Falcons offense back to the top.

The problem with this scenario is the fact Coleman and Freeman would need more rest. That is where Ito Smith comes in.

Smith is going to surprise some folks this year if he can stay healthy he has the speed and athleticism to fit perfectly in Atlanta.

Give him reps to allow Freeman and Coleman to rest is a great idea one the Falcons will likely utilize.
