1. Calvin Ridley Breaking Out in 2018

Isn’t interesting how all the post-draft criticism of Calvin Ridley has slowly dissipated?  The more reps Ridley has gotten with Matt Ryan the better the reports have been. Ridley is a good receiver who is in line to receive a lot of targets this season.

He was also my preferred first round pick for the Falcons considering they didn’t need a quarterback and the lack of elite lineman in the latter half of the 1st round.

Ridley may not have the size but he has the route-running ability and the speed to break big plays.

With so many big targets on the Falcons sideline, plays are going to open up for Ridley consistently. He has good hands and by all accounts seems to have a good rapport with Matt Ryan.

This season promises to be an entertaining one for the Falcons and their fans as the team’s stacked roster should be playoff favorites in 2018.
