After a disappointing 5-6 season in which only a few players had great seasons, Georgia Tech is going to need several players—especially in the previously senior-laden secondary—to step up and break out in 2018. Many players look poised to step up, but five stand out in my mind.

Jalen Camp, WR

Jalen Camp is someone who has not gotten a lot of chances in his three-year career so far at Georgia Tech but he has a ton of potential that many Tech fans want to see him fulfill. I think with Ricky Jeune gone, Brad Stewart and Camp will make up a very good wide receiver duo.

"“Jalen needs to be a good player for us, he’s got all the tools. Physically, he’s big, he’s strong. He needs to be more consistent and be a player.” – Head Coach Paul Johnson"

Camp is also a pretty poor blocker, which explains his lack of playing time given how important wide receiver blocking is to the triple option. As big and as strong as he is, he should be a better blocker, but if he gets that taken care of he will be a dominant 2nd wide receiver behind Stewart.
