Ajani Kerr, CB

Known for his game-winning pass break up against Virginia Tech last year, the sophomore has an inside track on the starting corner job after playing in all 11 games last year. Kerr is still developing but the potential is there.

He has great instincts to break up passes and excels in coverage, but where he really shines is with his length. His ability to track the ball in the air and break up the pass are keys to him being a good player.

If he can stay healthy and get consistent playing time, Kerr will be a great player on Tech’s new defense. A defense that could take a huge leap forward this season helping Tech finally make their way back into NCAA relevance.
