The King and His New Court

@ Los Angeles Lakers, Sunday November 11th 2018, at 9:30 PM EST

The Atlanta Hawks get a crack their nemesis LeBron James, for the first time in his new castle on November 11th. That’s when they travel for game one of a four game west coast road swing, that starts and ends in LA. LeBron’s Lakers is an interesting blend of eccentric veterans, and talented youth. Not to mention the presence of the controversial Lavar Ball. Ball is the Father of point guard Lonzo Ball, and the CEO of Big Baller Brand apparel company. He is known for his media outburst and lack of a filter.

The Lakers have surrounded LeBron with a zany cast of characters. A couple of which, have had run-ins with Atlanta Hawks’ players. Rajon Rondo certainly has been involved in heated exchanges with Hawks, having played the Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs in 2008 and 2012. Lance Stevenson was an antagonist to the Hawks in 2013 and 2014 playoff series.

The matchup to watch in this game is LeBron James versus Taurean Prince. A battle against James, is always a good measuring stick for the young Forward to see how much he’s improved.

Trae Young vs Lonzo Ball is an interesting matchups as well. Both point guards are playmakers. Aside from that, Young is known for his shooting, and Ball for his defense so something has to give.

The rematch will take place in Atlanta, after the calendar turns to 2019. The game will be played on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:30 PM EST.
