This was supposed to be a big SEC Clash. This was supposed to be the Georgia Bulldogs first big road test. Instead, it was yet another dominating win for the Dawgs.

On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs dominated South Carolina in a 41-17 game that was pretty much decided early in the 3rd quarter. The Dawgs pounded the Gamecocks on the ground, the defense played hellacious all afternoon and the Dawgs let the Gamecocks know that they still have a long way to go before they can challenge the Dawgs.

The defense set the tone early. Corner, Deandre Baker, looked like he had a Pick 6 after picking off Jake Bentley. However, Linebacker, Juwan Taylor, saved the Dawgs from what could’ve been a disaster and was awarded a 1-yard fumble recovery touchdown to give the Dawgs a 7-0 lead.

Sophomore Running Back, D’Andre Swift finished off a 4 play, 76-yard drive with a 17-yard touchdown run with 11:50 to go in the first quarter to give the Dawgs a 14-0 lead.

In the second half, the Dawgs blew the game open. Dominating the game showing the college football world they are still the powerhouse they were last season.

Mecole Hardman turned on the jets for a 34-yard touchdown score to put the Dawgs up 27-10 with 12:55 to go in the 3rd quarter.
