The Atlanta Braves are getting back Arodys Vizcaino from the disabled list at the right time. Vizcaino could help stabilize the back end of the Atlanta bullpen as they get set for the postseason.

Arodys Vizcaino is being added back to the Atlanta Braves bullpen after a long stretch on the disabled list. Vizcaino was the team’s closer to start the season and converted 15 of 17 save chances.

Vizcaino will add another power arm to the team’s bullpen and help them greatly in the postseason. His 1.60 ERA and 35 K’s in 33.2 innings point to his value to the team.

While he may not be an elite closer he will greatly help the Atlanta bullpen adding a flame-throwing arm.

With the Braves youth in their rotation and bullpen, Vizcaino can offer veteran leadership as well. Giving the Braves young arms a player who has pitched in high leverage situations.
