The Atlanta Falcons (1-2) will be in for a tough test against the Bengals (2-1) in week four. Can the Falcons overcome their injury-riddled roster and pull off a week four win?

The Atlanta Falcons are sitting at 1-2 on the young season and sitting at a pivotal point as the schedule eases up a bit.  After facing the Eagles, Panthers, and Saints the Falcons schedule will ease up a bit.

Games against the Bengals, Browns, Bucs, and Giants should afford the Falcons a better chance to win. The biggest problem for the Falcons will be finding a way to slow down an offense.

With both starting safeties now done for the season, the secondary must find a way to slow down offenses.

They are likely to have back Takk Mckinley this week who has two sacks in two games played. On film, he has appeared to be the team’s most consistent pass rusher and will help the Falcons defense if he is able to return against the Bengals.

Offensively the Falcons are clicking, putting the ball in the end zone and scoring enough to keep a weak defense in games.

Matt Ryan and the offense must continue to play at a high level scoring 30 or more points if the Falcons want any chance to win on Sunday.

The Bengals biggest weapon is elite receiver A.J. Green, luckily both the Falcon’s corners are still healthy and are good enough to slow Green down. Andy Dalton and the Bengal’s offense has been playing well and is more than capable of beating the Falcons if they cannot keep their defense off the field.

Sunday’s game will kick-off on CBS at 1:00 PM EST, with the Falcons fighting for their season.  A 1-3 start on the year would be a huge hole for the Falcons to climb out of as they attempt to make it to the playoffs for a third straight season.

Sunday’s game is a must-win to keep Atlanta in the driver’s seat as they hit the heart of their schedule and attempt to turn their early season struggles around.
