Week Three Co-player of the Week

Quarterback Matt Ryan 40.16 Points

If you started Calvin Ridley it is a high probability you earned a win. If you started Ridley and Matt Ryan, you were virtually guaranteed a fantasy football victory. Matt Ryan is our Co-player of the week for week three, scoring 40.16 points in fantasy leagues.

Matt Ryan’s lofty fantasy point total for week three, was the second highest in the NFL, trailing only his opponent Drew Brees. The performance marked the second straight week that Matt Ryan ranked top five, and scored over 30 fantasy points.

Matt Ryan completed an accurate 26 of 35 passes  for 374 yards. The Atlanta Falcons signal caller set a new career high with five touchdown passes. The talk of the Dirty Birds red zone woes has disappeared. Matt Ryan also ran for 12 yards on four carries.

Matt Ryan completed two deep explosive plays on throws to Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones. He missed out on an additional 41 yards, on the Crawley pass interference. Matt made a lovely throw on the play. The ball hit Ridley in the helmet as the defender pinned his arms, and dragged him to the ground.

Week Four Forecast

Matt Ryan gets a good matchup for his fantasy prospects, as his Atlanta Falcons’ host the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati is giving up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Combine the fact that the Bengals are a top 10 matchup, that the Atlanta Falcons are at home and Ryan is coming off consecutive great outings, the decision is obviously clear.
