Julio Jones was quiet for his standards, for the second straight week. Despite rookie Calvin Ridley having a huge day, Julio improved on his week two out put. The major difference was the fact that Julio got loose for a 58 yard bomb from Matt Ryan. Julio caught five of the six targets sent his way, for 96 yards.
Week Four Forecast
Julio Jones is off to a fairly slow start, ranking number 21 among NFL wide receivers. The fact that he has yet to cross the goal-line this season, is a major reason why Jones ranks much lower, than his talent indicates that he should.
Julio Jones must stay patient. Defenses will start to respect and adjust to Calvin Ridley, opening things up more for him. Right now Julio is seeing a ton of double teams and bracket coverages.
