The Georgia Bulldogs are in for a very tough stretch of games in the weeks to come in a surprisingly good SEC. Can the Bulldogs remain undefeated or will they struggle in the coming weeks?

The Georgia Bulldogs season is off to a spotless start. They are sitting undefeated at 5-0 and have another cupcake team scheduled this week.  Taking on Vanderbilt this week in Athens the Dawgs should easily roll to 6-0 on the season with an off week two weeks away.

What comes after Vanderbilt is worrisome for a Dawgs team that hasn’t looked quite as dominant as last season. Sure, they may have dominated their competition but they have shown weaknesses we haven’t see in the last year.

Runs that should have been stopped at the line going for 5-10 yards because someone didn’t stay home defensively. Missed throws from Jake Fromm or a receiver dropping a ball.

All expected growing pains when you lost the amount of NFL talent as the Dawgs did last season. Still, it is worrisome with the stretch of games the Dawgs are getting set for.

After what should be an easy win in Athens this week the Dawgs will take on #5 LSU, #22 Florida,#13 Kentucky, and #8 Auburn in four games straight.

A gauntlet of games the Dawgs will have to play perfectly in to escape unbeaten. Both LSU and Kentucky have been pleasant surprises while the Gators and Auburn are picking up from where they left off last season.

Four weeks of playing ranked teams will be a tough test for Kirby Smart’s crew. A four-week stretch where we will find out if this team is indeed again playoff bound.

The good news in this scheduling nightmare is the fact the Bulldogs will have an off week after the LSU game giving them time to get ready for the Gators and Wildcats in back-to-back weeks.

Georgia may be unbeaten for now, but they are in for a tough test of games.  A test likely to hand them at least one loss as the season hits the halfway point in Athens.
