4. Brian Snitker Must Continue to Trust His Own Process This Postseason

Brian Snitker is one of the better stories in baseball. An Atlanta Braves organizational soldier who has held many titles in his time with Atlanta. He has helped guide a number of former top Braves players.

With their skipper fired in-season and no better alternatives Snitker was placed as interim manger. Immediately the team looked better on the field and seemed to follow Snitker’s leadership.

That isn’t to say there wasn’t a learning curve for Snitker who has made his fair share of mistakes, only he showed improvement from the start.

When the off-season rolled around and another losing season was in the books for Atlanta Snitker was backed by his players. The clubhouse has had his back and this season is a testament to why.

In what was supposed to be a rebuilding season he has led the Braves to a division title and a first round date with the LA Dodgers.

It isn’t only the players who will be nervous, however, Snitker is managing his first postseason series and will have a lot to prove. Staying calm and knowing when to throw out his own playbook and when to stick with what has led the Braves to success this season will be a huge deciding factor in round one.
