3. The Atlanta Braves Must Find a Way to Tally an Early Run

The first five innings of the game the Braves offense was anemic. While the rest of the game may have had its struggles as well let us focus on the start of the game. For the first five innings, the Braves only managed singles failing to put together any true threat.

Being dominated in the postseason isn’t an option for a Braves offense expected to carry a young pitching staff. Atlanta may be the comeback kids but failing to put together so much as a viable threat in five innings of baseball isn’t acceptable in the postseason.

Atlanta must find a way in game two to get on the board earlier. Coming back in the regular season is tough enough coming back in the postseason is even harder.

Offensively Atlanta must step up and find a way to put at least one run on the board in the first five innings of the game.
