The Atlanta Falcons again registered huge numbers, scoring 36 points. Fortunately for fantasy football players, this led to big point totals for their teams.

Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Player of the Week:

Matt Ryan – Quarterback 29.3 Points

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been hotter than fish grease lately! For the third consecutive week, he is our Falcons fantasy football player of the week. Ryan got his robust point total by completing 29 of 39 passes for 419 yards and three touchdowns.

Amazingly the point total ranked only eighth among quarterbacks in fantasy leagues. That’s just how many great quarterback performances there were this past week. Matt Ryan spread the ball around to eight different wide receivers in the game.

Matt Ryan is at his best when he spreads the ball rather than locking in on one wide receiver and forcing him the ball. Matt Ryan had no turnovers once again. Unfortunately for the Atlanta Falcons they failed to win for the second consecutive game when scoring more than 35 points.

Matt Ryan has bounced back from a horrible first game of the season. He now ranks second among NFL fantasy football quarterbacks for the. 2018 campaign.

Week Five Forecast

Matt Ryan will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in week five. The matchup is a tantalizing one for Matt, as the Steelers rank number 30 in yards allowed. Pittsburgh ranks number 29 in passing yards allowed per game.

The Steelers rank number 26 in points allowed giving up 29 points per game. Matt Ryan’s play so far, combined with Pittsburgh’s ineptitude on defense, sets things up for an extremely favorable matchup, for the Atlanta Falcons quarterback. Ryan should be a top five quarterback this week.
