Mohamed Sanu – Wide Receiver

Standard: 11.1 Points PPR: 16.1 Points

The fact that Calvin Ridley has emerged in the Atlanta Falcons offense, was expected to take away catches and yards from Mohamed Sanu, but that just has not been the case. In fact Sanu has thrived even more as the offense has opened up.

For the second straight week, Mohamed Sanu had a nice fantasy football output scoring over 15 points in PPR leagues. His totals of six catches for 111 yards against Cincinnati, his former team, are his new seasons highs. Sanu finished as the 32nd ranked receiver for the week, in NFL standard leagues.

The encouraging thing for Sanu is he was able to put up a solid point total with zero touchdowns. He was also able to score in addition to Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley having huge success.

Week Five Forecast

As previously mentioned the Pittsburgh Steelers allow the fourth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Combine that with the fact that Pittsburgh allows the 26th most points to running backs, and you have a formula for all three of the Atlanta Falcons top receivers to be fed the ball.

Advice: If you’re in a league with 12 or more teams and have a wide receiver injured, or on a bye week, start Mohamed Sanu.

Matt Bryant – Kicker 14 Points

Atlanta Falcons kicker Matt Bryant put up his best fantasy football total of the season scoring 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The ageless wonder Bryant was 3-3 kicking fields goals last Sunday including a booming 55 yard field goal before the half.

Week Five Forecast:

Matt Bryant ranks as the 13th best kicker in fantasy so far this season. He has been recently hurt fantasy wise by the Atlanta Falcons converting nearly every red zone opportunity into a touchdown. The Falcons offense seems to be back to its 2016 Super Bowl form this season, and Matt Bryant is sure to benefit.

Advice: Start Matt Bryant
