Julio Jones – Wide Receiver

Standard – 6.2 Points PPR – 11.2 Points

Week five was a quiet one by Julio Jones standards. Particularly if you have Jones in a standard scoring league. The Dirty Birds’ number one receiver matched a season low with five catches. He also had a season low 62 yards.

Julio is third in the NFL in receiving yards. He’s ranked 12 in catches. Despite those significant numbers, Julio ranks just number 19 among NFL fantasy football receivers. The reason being that Julio Jones has yet to score a touchdown this season.

Week Six Forecast

The outlook for “Jet” Jones is a great one this week. As previously mentioned, the Tampa secondary gives up the second most points to fantasy wide Receivers. The Buccaneers’ pass defense ranks last in the league.

Another factor is the fact, that Julio Jones has a fantastic track record against Tampa, in his career with the Atlanta Falcons. He has 83 career catches, for 1413 yards versus division rival Tampa. Julio also has a whopping ten touchdowns against the pewter wearing rivals.

I predict Julio Jones will get his first touchdown of the season this week.

Advice: Start Julio Jones

Calvin Ridley – Wide Receiver

Standard – 3.8 Points PPR – 7.8 Points

Calvin Ridley had a quiet game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He only had four catches for 38 yards. He also failed to score a touchdown. More defensive attention has been focused on Calvin, but the main reason for the decline was the Atlanta Falcons inability to protect Matt Ryan.

Week Six Forecast

Calvin Ridley has been terrific so far this season. He is the number five rated wife receiver in NFL fantasy Calvin will look to get back on track this week against the abysmal Buccaneers defense. As long as the Atlanta Falcons can contain Gerald McCoy, Jason Pierre-Paul and company, Ridley should bounce back.

Advice: Start Calvin Ridley
