Matt Ryan – Quarterback 14.4 Points

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been on an incredible hot streak. Coming into last week’s game, he had scored at least 32 points in three straight games. This included a 47 point masterpiece against the hated rival New Orleans sAints.

Ryan wasn’t terrible against the Steelers going 26 – 38 for 285 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Unfortunately pressure prevented Ryan from having another banner day. As previously mentioned, he was sacked six times. Right tack Ryan Schraeder struggled mightily attempting to protect Ryan.

Week Six Forecast

Matt Ryan may be the highest ranked fantasy quarterback for this week. He is ranked third for the season, and faces a Tampa team that has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks faced. If the protection hold up, Matt Ryan should have a field day.

Advice: Start Matt Ryan

Matt Bryant – Kicker

Mr. Reliable Matt Bryant has gotten off to a slow start, as far as fantasy football is concerned. Bryant typically ranks as a top 5 kicker in fantasy football, yet he ranks just number 18 so far this season.

Bryant has still been reliable, making all seven of his field goal attempts. He did miss one extra point attempt.

The issue has been lack of opportunity for Matt Bryant, as the Atlanta Falcons offense has either been so good in the red zone that Bryant hasn’t been needed, or they have been shut down.

Week Six Forecast

Tampa Bay only allows the 22nd most fantasy points to opposing kickers. The reason being is that they usually give up touchdowns, and not field goals. At the same time the Dirty Birds are notorious for red zone scoring issues, and giving Bryant a lot of opportunities.

A shootout is expected to take place between The Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
