The Georgia Bulldogs must run the table after losing to LSU,now headed into their bye week. With anything but a playoff berth considered a failure, Georgia must find a way to go through the rest of the season unbeaten.

If last season taught us anything it is a Georgia Bulldogs team led by Kirby Smart knows how to bounce back. After trailing for only seconds all season the Bulldogs were punched squarely in the face last Saturday and were unable to get off the mat.

Losing at LSU the Dawgs were knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten and will now be forced to run the table for a shot at the playoffs.

Last season it was Auburn who gave Georgia an embarrassing loss. Now Georgia must find a way to respond the same way they did then. They must simply win their five remaining games and beat whoever would await them in the SEC championship.

With the final two games of the year against cupcake teams, Georgia must finish their SEC schedule strong. Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn will close out the SEC season for the Dawgs who must beat all three.

If not, both their shot at an SEC championship game and the playoffs are gone. With the loss to LSU Georgia’s ability to stumble has been taken away. They must now find a way to roll off six wins in a row.

Six wins that will land them back in the playoffs with another shot at the title. A bye week could not have come at a more perfect time for a team who now must contemplate last week’s loss as they get ready to take on their highest ranked remaining opponent in the #11 Gators.
