The Atlanta Falcons will take on the New York Giants in tonight’s edition of Monday Night Football. The Falcons are facing yet another must-win game to pull themselves out of an early hole.

The Atlanta Falcons must find a way to put their season back together after a terrible 1-4 start.  The Falcons beat division rival Tampa Bay and will now face the lowly New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

Atlanta must find a way to win to continue and climb back into the playoff race. While Matt Ryan has been playing at an MVP level Eli Manning has been struggling badly for a stagnant New York offense.

The New York offense is ranked 27th in the League averaging less than 20 points a game. Atlanta meanwhile, is in the top ten offenses in the League averaging 27 points a game.

Ryan must continue to play at a high level offensively and keep their defense off of the field. Must win games in October are never good, but that is the situation where Atlanta finds themselves.

Sitting at 2-4 coming into tonight’s game Atlanta needs to finish at 8-2 to have a shot into the NFL playoffs. Anything less is unlikely to cut it for a team who was thought to be a Super Bowl contender heading into the season.

Calvin Ridley is expected to be back for Atlanta tonight, while Matt Bryant will miss his first game of the season.

Atlanta will find a way to win against New York and improve to a 3-4 record on the season tonight.

The key for Atlanta will be using a pass rush against the ever immobile Eli Manning limiting the Giant’s offense.

Offensively Julio Jones should be set for another big night with the rest of Atlanta’s receivers not completely healthy.

Atlanta wins this one 31-21 as they continue to turn their season around. Tonight’s game will kick off at 8:15 on ESPN.
