4. A Starter or a Depth Option in Josh Donaldson

Josh Donaldson has seen his stock drop badly over the last two seasons. After becoming one of the most feared 3rd basemen in the League Donaldson has struggled to stay on the field and will likely be looking for a short-term deal.

The Braves would be a perfect fit for the veteran third baseman. Johan Camargo is the incumbent starter but would work perfectly as a platoon option. With the Braves shortstop struggling to produce offensively Camargo could platoon between the two positions.

Donaldson would offer some much needed power as well for the Atlanta lineup.  He has swatted more than 30-homers four out of the last five seasons and if healthy is an RBI machine.

Bringing him to Atlanta and slotting him behind Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr. would make the lineup deeper and provide more balance. Donaldson will likely demand a two year deal if the market continues to be as slow as it was in 2017.
