1. Bring Back a Familiar Face and Some Stability Behind the Plate

BrianMcCannis coming off of his worst statistical season hitting .212 and only hitting 7-homers for the Houston Astros. Still,McCannwould be a good add for Atlanta and provide him a chance to play for his home team.

McCannhas a World Series ring and the experience of playing on teams with high expectations.Brianwould be a perfect platoon option withTylerFlowers.Adding a bit of lefty power to the lineup,Brian’snumbers would likely bounce back in Atlanta.

He is a career .263 hitter and would be a great fit at the bottom of the lineup or coming off of the bench.

For Atlanta a one-year deal would make sense offeringMcCanna chance to rehab his value and Atlanta to have very little commitment.

It is time forMcCannto come back home to Atlanta and to help add leadership to what is becoming a very young clubhouse.
