2. Braves Should Make a Move for More Positional Depth

Signing Josh Harrison may seem to be an odd move, but bear with the reasoning for a moment if you will. Josh would be a perfect fit in Atlanta under the right circumstances. If Atlanta were to forgo adding Josh Donaldson or another big free agent infielder Harrison would be the perfect compromise.

Josh can play a myriad of positions and is capable of starting or coming off of the bench. He would add hustle and another veteran to the clubhouse.

He is a career .277 hitter and would likely give Atlanta another very consistent contact hitter. Josh rarely strikes out and hustles consistently, he would perfectly fit the culture of the Atlanta clubhouse.

Josh Harrison could fall outside of Atlanta’s comfort zone, however, if the free agent market is stronger than it was last off-season. He is a player to keep an eye on and one who would unquestionably make Atlanta better.
