The Atlanta Falcons were surprisingly upset by the Cleveland Browns 28-16. The lackluster performance has taken away the teams margin of error and has placed the team in playoff mode, in week 11. They Falcons must win at home against the Dallas Cowboys.

We’ve reached panic mode on the 2018 Atlanta Falcons.

Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys was already circled on most calendars before the season started. Now the game has turned into an absolute must win for both teams.

Before last Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, the Falcons were on a three game winning streak and seemed to be turning the corner on their season.

The offense was rolling and the defense, which has been horrendous for most of the season, shut down the likes of Saquon Barkley and Adrian Peterson, helping the offense during this winning streak.

But then last Sunday’s game against the Browns happened.

An offense, who was nearly unstoppable on third down against the Redskins, looked nothing like it on Sunday.

The offense, besides a terrible red zone performance against the Eagles, has been tremendous in the red zone all season.

They were anything but that on Sunday. Lets just forget about that drive that stalled in the red zone at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

The defense, who played good enough for the Falcons to pull off 3 straight wins, made Baker Mayfield look like Joe Montana and Nick Chubb look like Emmitt Smith.

It was an all around disappointing performance for the Falcons, that may end up costing them.

But  they’re not dead yet and there is hope now that Deion Jones is coming back.

However, the Dallas Cowboys are coming to town and they’re coming off a huge divisional win against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both teams are desperate, especially the Falcons, who really can not afford to lose this game with the rival Saints coming up Thanksgiving.

It’s crunch time.
